Animatricks brings every year the most interesting and in many cases award winning feature films for audience to enjoy. One of this year's feature films is My Love Affair with Marriage directed by Latvian director Signe Baumanne (2022). The movie is semi-autobiographical musical and it follows a young woman, Zelma, on her 23-year quest for Perfect Love and Lasting Marriage set against a backdrop of historic events in Eastern Europe.
My Love Affair with Marriage had its world premiere at Tribeca Festival on June 11, 2022 and it has won award at Annecy International Animation Festival, as well as in Viborg and Fredrikstad. The American news website Huffington Post named the movie as one of the best movies of 2022.
My Love Affair with Marriage is a co-production between Latvia, USA and Luxemburg and it took 7 year's to complete.
