Animatricks has a great joy to have animation director Chintis Lundgren as online guest. Estonian-born, currently in Croatia living Lundgren is well-known of her quirky music videos and diverse short films featuring distinct anathropomorphic characters. Her award-winning short animations Life with Herman H. Rott (2015) and Manivald (2017) have screened at numerous international festivals including Sundance, Annecy, Hiromisa and Ottawa.
In this year’s Animatricks festival Lundgren will have a special screening and a Masterclass called Chintis Lungdren; How I accidentally became an animator. On her masterclass Lundgren talks about wolf butts, drinking vodka in the countryside and about how she ended up in animation. Later on she’s joined by Draško, a mysterious producer wearing a white fur coat. There’s music, dancing and deep philosophical thoughts.
Chintis Lundren Masterclass will be held in Eventive, on Saturday 22.5.
